Client: Digital Media Design/ School Project The assignment was to create an interactive presentation of the DMD program at COTC. The presentation would be used at conventions and as a speech aid when addressing groups. Mine was chosen for it's rich use of imagary, video, sound, copy, and interaction. The insturctor like the design too of course and is currently using it. |

The crowning feature of this piece is an interactive video walk through of the DMD Labs. Viewers hit the play button and watch a one-shot, fluid video I created that takes them through the lab. As the movie plays the sub-nav and the text on the right follow along. The viewer can also use the sub-nav to jump to any point in the tour and then choose to start playing the movie from there. I created my own music for the walk through using Garage Band and sinked it up in Flash 8. |

This presentation starts out with a small slide show and some engaging music I created. Facts about DMD, the college, and graphic design jobs are flashed across the screen in a loop. This gives the presenter time to address his/her audience while keeping them engaged. The music and animation can also catch the attention of people passing by at conventions. |

Each of the six areas covered in the presentation has its own unique sounds and layout keep the audience constantly stimulated. I wrote most of the copy, and acted as editor for which images to include, which to leave out, and which to create new. All the buttons are animated and have sounds. |
